曼科特 Mankot
範圍註 ：
指帕哈里細密畫的一支地區畫派，與旁遮普山丘諸邦中最小的蘭科特邦（Ramkot state）（釋註：曼科特邦現名為蘭科特邦）有關。在西元十七世紀中期帝王沙．賈汗（Shah Jahan）的統治期間，受到蒙兀兒風格啟發的肖像畫傳入曼科特之後，肖像畫便一直是曼科特畫家的主要創作類型。早期的繪畫較多裝飾，但在十八世紀早期則開始著重場景戲劇性表現。在曼科特繪畫可以發現某些巴索利繪畫的變形。曼科特畫家也吸納奴浦（Nurpur）、查謨與查姆巴畫風為己用，尤其可見於於臉部的描繪。在西元十九世紀間，由於曼科特及其他公國失去獨立地位，曼科特畫風也隨之開始沒落。

| 英文.... | Refers to a regional school of Pahari miniature painting associated with the Ramkot state, the smallest Punjab Hill state. Mughal-inspired portraiture was introduced to Mankot in the mid-17th century under the emperor Shah Jahan and portraiture remained a primary concern of Mankot painters. While earlier paintings are more decorative, the emphasis changed in the early 18th century to focus on the drama of the scene. Some of the distortion of Basohli painting is found in Mankot painting. Painting trends of Nurpur, Jammu and Chamba, particularly in the depiction of faces, were also assimilated by Mankot artists. When Mankot and other principalities lost their independence in the 19th century, painting in Mankot declined. |
