用以永久紀念軍事勝利而豎立的紀念碑，上面通常飾有從戰場上取得之戰利品的圖像，且多設立在征服敵人的地點。此紀念碑的設計源自於希臘和羅馬在獲得軍事勝利時，會將武器和盔甲集結起來加以展示的慶祝方式。至於被視為戰利品的實體物件，無論是在戰爭或狩獵中得到的物品，或者是因比賽勝利而贏得的獎勵品，則使用「戰利品（物件）」加以指稱。

戰利品(物件)

英文....	Monuments erected as permanent reminders of military victories, usually containing images of the spoils of battle and often set up in the land of the vanquished. The design of these monuments was derived from the piles of arms and armor collected and displayed after Greek and Roman military victories. For the actual objects taken as spoils in war or hunting, or awarded as prizes for victory in contests, use "trophies (objects)."
