用以分隔室內空間的內牆，有時為將建物劃分成數個房室的固定式內牆面，有時則為活動式，可移開而擴大空間。若非牆壁而區隔室內空間者，一般如書架、櫥櫃、抽屜等，則稱之為「隔屏」。
